Why are saxophones so special?
Saxophones are the one and only hybrid between the brass and the woodwind family, as it has the body of a brass and the mouthpiece/ reed of a woodwind. This enables them to be vary loud (Like the brass) but gives the the smooth and beautiful tone of the woodwind. And they look cool.

Perkataan macro bererti besar, manakal perkataan micro bererti kecil.

Apakah itu fotografi 'close up'?

60+Earth Hour 2011

60+Earth Hour 2011, originally uploaded by noki2u.

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. Only a year later and Earth Hour had become a global sustainability movement with more than 50 million people across 35 countries/territories participating. Global landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, CN Tower in Toronto, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and Rome’s Colosseum, all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.

In March 2009, hundreds of millions of people took part in the third Earth Hour. Over 4000 cities in 88 countries/territories officially switched off to pledge their support for the planet, making Earth Hour 2009 the world’s largest global climate change initiative.

On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever. A record 128 countries and territories joined the global display of climate action. Iconic buildings and landmarks from Asia Pacific to Europe and Africa to the Americas switched off. People across the world from all walks of life turned off their lights and came together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.

3/5 alasan yang 'soulful' untuk melakukan fotografi jalanan

my love=groundnut:peanut:kacang(goreng)

groundnut:peanut:kacang(goreng), originally uploaded by noki2u.
Groundnuts, also known as peanuts, are considered a very healthy snack. Groundnut is the member of the legume family and is native to regions like South America, Mexico and Central America. However, it is successfully grown in other parts of the world as well. The name of the plant combines the morpheme ‘pea’ and ‘nut’. In the culinary sense, it is regarded as a nut, but in the botanical sense, the fruit of the plant is a woody legume. Since that is the case, the groundnut is actually a kind of pea. The groundnut is also known by different names like earthnuts, goobers, goober peas, pindas, jack nuts, pinders, manila nuts and monkey nuts. Throughout the world, they are known for their nutrition and health benefits. Read for information on the nutritional value and benefits of groundnuts.

SBEU members seek justice through picket

SBEU members seek justice through picket, originally uploaded by noki2u.

Sarawak Bank Employees Union (SBEU) was held to propose a picket against disparity in benefits accorded to its members compared to those in Peninsula Malaysia and Sabah.
The issues involved are that members of SBEU are not given salary adjustment like their counterparts in Sabah who were granted a two percent salary increase; the bank management had also granted Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) between RM100 and RM150 per month to employees in Peninsula Malaysia but not to bank employees in Sarawak.
Same picket were also held by SBEU branches in Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Sarikei and Limbang.
Added other course of action would include protest and industrial action against the bank management.
Photos was taken from in front of Malayan Banking (Maybank) Limbang Branch's building this early morning. Noki

2/5 alasan yang 'soulful' untuk melakukan fotografi jalanan

a famous photo by henri-cartier bresson

1/5 alasan yang 'soulful' untuk melakukan fotografi jalanan
